Frozen day-old chicks are a natural whole-prey food for birds of prey and an excellent addition to the diet of large monitor lizards, pythons and other big reptiles. Whole-prey nutrition
Unlike processed foods, whole prey provides bone (calcium), organ meat (vitamins and minerals) and natural roughage in one package — the closest thing to a wild diet you can offer.
Feeding and storage
Keep frozen at -18°C and use within 6 months for best quality. Thaw thoroughly in the fridge or in cool water before feeding — never feed frozen or partially frozen prey, and never refreeze a thawed chick.
