Egg Trays

Cardboard egg trays are the cheapest upgrade you can make to a cricket or roach bin. Stacked vertically, each tray multiplies the usable surface area of the container — more standing room means less crowding, less stress, lower die-off and a bigger colony in the same footprint.

Why every colony needs them

• Crickets and roaches instinctively hide in the cells, reducing stress and cannibalism
• Vertical stacking can triple or quadruple effective floor space
• Absorbent cardboard helps keep humidity in check
• Cheap enough to discard and replace at every clean-out — no scrubbing

How to use

Stand trays on edge, leaning against each other with gaps between, so insects can move freely through the stack. Replace when soiled.
