Frass fertilizer is pure insect manure (mostly from mealworms) — a by-product of our feeder farming, and one of the most underrated natural plant foods there is. It's full of beneficial micro-organisms and chitin: it stimulates probiotics in the soil while also boosting the plant's immune system, priming natural defences against pests and fungal disease. Child and pet friendly, with a slight bread-like odour that makes it ideal for indoor use.
Preparation of potting medium
Mix 10 heaped tablespoons of frass fertilizer per 1 litre of medium.
Tea
Mix 5 heaped tablespoons per 1 litre of ambient water and let it stand overnight. Shake it up and drench the plant.
